This is our third year going out with Captain Jerry and as always we were on the fish!! So much fun and it felt effortless. He and is grandson did a fantastic job finding those perfect locations to fish. We will only choose this Charter company for our future fishing trips. Thanks again Jerry it was a perfect day!!

Captain Doug was wonderful! Very patient with our 3 yr old💙. Out 6yr old absolutely loved it, he caught a 17in flounder🎣💙! We will be back next year for sure!!👍

Great experience and a wonderful guide who knows where the fish are located. We caught over 15 fluke in 3 hours of fishing. I would highly recommend him if you are going to fish in southern New Jersey.

Captain Jerry was awesome. As was his first mate, Jarod. I took my 5 year old daughter and they were nothing but thoughtful and patient with teaching her how to fish. Great people, we will definitely be using them again.

Trip - Half Day Guided Fishing Trip In Avalon - Flounder, Bass And More on June 30, 2025

Me and my four teenage boys plus one of their friends went out with Captain Doug. We all caught fish and had an amazing time. I think we caught around 15 fish and one keeper. At the end we fought with a 75 pound cow head stingray for at least 25 minutes and it was awesome! The fight went over our allotted time but Captain Doug let us fight him until he surrendered and was next to the boat. Captain Doug, who is a retired game warden, was also very knowledgeable, open to questions, and extremely friendly. The biggest and best advice I can give anyone reading this is to listen to the Captain about wearing a long sleeve shirt, pants, socks, and shoes. Just deal with the heat. Don’t be like me who wore shorts and flip flops because the greenheads will eat you alive! If you are debating this vs a party boat I would highly recommend going this route. We will definitely be back to fish with Diamond Rig Charters!!!
