Me and my four teenage boys plus one of their friends went out with Captain Doug. We all caught fish and had an amazing time. I think we caught around 15 fish and one keeper. At the end we fought with a 75 pound cow head stingray for at least 25 minutes and it was awesome! The fight went over our allotted time but Captain Doug let us fight him until he surrendered and was next to the boat. Captain Doug, who is a retired game warden, was also very knowledgeable, open to questions, and extremely friendly. The biggest and best advice I can give anyone reading this is to listen to the Captain about wearing a long sleeve shirt, pants, socks, and shoes. Just deal with the heat. Don’t be like me who wore shorts and flip flops because the greenheads will eat you alive! If you are debating this vs a party boat I would highly recommend going this route. We will definitely be back to fish with Diamond Rig Charters!!!

We went out with Captain Doug. Captain was very knowledgeable about the local fishing grounds. The weather didn’t cooperate but we still managed to put a few flounder in the cooler. Great trip!

Jerry had a fantastic day. He was very forthcoming about weather forecasts prior to the trip and communicated thoroughly. His main priority was clearly catching fish and making his guests as comfortable as possible. As a result, we had a fantastic day and caught several keeper-sized stripers. I highly recommend it!

Awesome morning outing in Avalon and T.I.'s back bay. We arrived about 30 minutes early, and Captain Jerry from Diamond Jig Charters was waiting for us! My wife, kids, and I had a great time the entire time. Jerry is very friendly and knowledgeable, and he has created an excellent environment for fishing. We had "bites and hits" the entire time, brought 17 fish onto the boat, and were able to keep three (getting ready to have lunch right now1). Jerry made sure we got back to the parking lot, cleaned and packaged the fish, and came over to see us off! A true "A-Z" fantastic experience.

Captain Doug is a fantastic storyteller and a former NJ Game Warden. We didn't catch many fish, but we did catch one keeper flounder. Remember to use the restroom before boarding the boat. The boat is small and lacks one.

If you want to catch fish while having a good time, I definitely recommend reserving this boat. The skipper and mate are fantastic folks who will get you hooked up with fish. I had so much fun fishing with them that I scheduled another trip before I even got off the boat. Great fishing and a fantastic staff!!
