Trip - Guided Shark, Bass And Flounder Fishing Trip In Avalon - Kid-Friendly on August 26, 2026

I booked a 3 hour charter with 3 adults and my nephew (10yo). Captain Gerry and his first mate could not have been more accommodating for us, especially as novice fisherman. We first trawled for blue fish and got 8 keepers in an hour! Then went into the bay and caught numerous croaker, spot, and even a shark! Gerry knew exactly where to go, had top notch gear, and everyone had an awesome time. Would recommend to all. We will certain you be back

Jerry and Doug do a great job! They care about a good experience and they position anglers for the best possible outcome. We have been out 2xs with Diamond Jig and we have never caught less than 5 fish. On our first trip, we caught enough keepers for a feast!!! These guys know what their doing and they treat you like family. You can't go wrong with Diamond Jig!!!

This is our third year going out with Captain Jerry and as always we were on the fish!! So much fun and it felt effortless. He and is grandson did a fantastic job finding those perfect locations to fish. We will only choose this Charter company for our future fishing trips. Thanks again Jerry it was a perfect day!!

We went out with Captain Doug. Captain was very knowledgeable about the local fishing grounds. The weather didn’t cooperate but we still managed to put a few flounder in the cooler. Great trip!
